Yesterday I received from the library World Without End by Ken Follet. I had requested it when I heard that it was published as the sequel to the much enjoyed The Pillars of the Earth. Whoa! It is quite a hefty book at 1014 pages. I am going to try to get a good start on it and consider whether to buy it as it is doubtful that I can get it read before it is due back to the library October 31. Since it is a new book, I probably won't be able to renew it. Has anyone read it?
Not good timing as I am also trying to finish the Halloween costume I am making for my daughter (Glinda the Good Witch). Plus I'd also like to keep up with this month's Book Buddies selection as well as the ones that follow.

I haven't managed to read Pillars of the Earth yet! I want to read that before I read World Without End, but I am going to get to them both eventually!
I'd love to see that costume, Shirley!
I'll try to remember to post a photo (my first attempt on this blog) when I finish the costume.
That would be great Shirley. Adding a photo to your blog entry is easy enough, once you have it in a folder on your computer. if you need help, do ask! this is the one thing that i DID like about blogging..lol.
Woo hoo Shirley!! 1014 pages?!?! That's crazy! You're a braver woman than I that's for sure lol =)
It's gotten really good reviews, and I loved "Pillars of the Earth". I just put it on hold at my library, but I'm 56th on the list so it will be awhile! Follet's works read quickly, I'd say it will be a great read! Maybe a good Christmas present?
I loved Pillars of the Earth. I will have to get World Without End and read it between my face to face book club and BB's selection.
