ILI's musings - I for one am glad that Lucia finally faced G., even if she didn't tell the total truth to him. Now that he said that she looked repulsive & obviously wanted no part of her, Lucia could finally make peace with her past & have a resolution of that relationship. In other words, purge him out of her life, once & for all. In the end, she found another man that loved her just as she was & swept her away to America. Ha!! Take that G!!! Oh well, I shouldn't judge him, but as she had said, he didn't even care what had .happened to her throughout the years. How does anyone else feel? I can't be the only one besides Bonnie that read this book? Speak up people!!
