4. Tell us about a time you were surprised in a good and happy way.
After nine years of marriage and many prayers combined with fertility testing and adoption attempts, I was delighted with the wonderful news that I was pregnant!!! These were the days before home pregnancy kits and necessitated a wait before learning the test results. When the doctor's office called and said that the test was positive. I made my first appointment with them and then sat at my desk stunned and with great delight. I then called them back to confirm that positive did mean that I was positively pregnant.
